I contacted you a few months ago with a view to refinancing in order to pay a hefty income tax bill.

Your keen observation skills which are based on your many years of experience in the finance industry helped me in an indirect way to avoid a major company income tax bill by just simply asking a simple question based on common sense. I write to convey my utmost appreciation for what you have done for my family and I in regard to financial assistance and as a bounce board for our financial challenges.

Firstly you became my advisor, procurer then later friend resulting in good financial gains almost immediately, 3 years later you assisted our family in a bold business venture when all other avenues had failed, i.e. banks had withdrawn support and other financial organisations had dishonoured their word even though my family members had followed those organisations procedures and requirements to the letter.

Of course not many people had foreseen the GFC coming, but that reason doesn’t help when you have already spent 5 years in planning and meetings.

You personally took it on yourself to ‘see what you could do’ for us resulting in an up and running Steiner Kindergarten that employs 3 of my children directly, my ex-wife as an owner-director and 35 staff members.
